Bacon Wrapped Smokies

Ingredients

  • brown sugar

  • little smokie sausages

  • bacon

Directions

  • Do Ahead:
  • Cut bacon into thirds, then cut each piece in half lengthwise to make strips approximately 3” x ½”.
  • Wrap sausages with the strips of bacon.
  • Arrange seam side down on baking sheet with sides.
  • Securely wrap and refrigerate until ready to bake.
  • Day Of:
  • Preheat oven to 400º.
  • Unwrap and sprinkle with brown sugar.
  • Bake until bacon and sugar are browned and crispy.
